Anthony Davis became a trustee in 2013 and is a solicitor. He has a particular interest in educational work.

Sal Cooke

Sal Cooke OBE

Having spent over 30 years in education, teaching in schools, colleges, universities, prisons and adult learning. Sal always tries to focus on the needs of others. Sal was rewarded with an OBE for her services to Educational Technology having latterly run a Government Advisory Service where disability and inclusion were key to her work. She has spent most of her working live, trying to bring the digital world within reach to those who need it.

Sal has kept up her passion for technology and now works for herself running Just Ask Sal, whilst still finding time to enjoy her voluntary work, whether this is with very large global charities or in her local community. Sal feels privileged that having met Ian Karten on a number of occasions during her working life, that she is now able to fulfil her role as a Trustee for the Ian Karten Charitable Trust.

Edward Copisarow

Edward Copisarow

Edward has worked in the voluntary sector for over thirty years, mostly in medical research and medical welfare charities, as a fundraiser, grantmaker, Chief Executive and Trustee. He has a particular interest in disability and social inclusion issues.

Alexandra Davis Moran

Alexandra (Davis) Moran

Alex is a Development professional with a particular focus on the arts and education. She has worked at a range of cultural institutions and museums helping to develop sources of philanthropic funding that allow them to build a sustainable future. Alex sits on the Development Board of St John’s College, University of Durham, and she became a Trustee of the Ian Karten Charitable Trust in 2016.

Pamela has 3 decades of experience working in the charity, non-profit and education sectors. Outside work, she enjoys travelling, film, theatre, playing Walking netball and spending time with her two grandchildren.

Ines Meza Mitcher

Ines Meza-Mitcher

Administrator (currently on maternity leave)

Ines has over a decade of experience working in administrative support roles across a variety of sectors. She has a particular interest in charity governance and supporting boards to achieve best practice. Outside work, she enjoys writing and is currently working on a novel.
